Welcome to the PTA section of our website.




Who are the PTA at Our Lady’s?

If you are a parent of a child at Our Lady’s school, then you are already a member of the PTA!  You do not have to sign up to any formal membership, you can simply come along to PTA meetings to share ideas, offer as little or as much help as you wish or just to listen and gain a better insight into the life of the school and future events, everyone is very welcome.  Find us on Facebook Our Lady’s School PTA or join us on WhatsApp.

The PTA is run by a committee of parents and teachers. The committee meet on an informal basis to discuss and organise fundraising and social events in order to provide extra benefits for the school and your children’s enjoyment of school life.


The PTA includes staff (teaching and non-teaching), parents and carers of all the children at the school.

The PTA at Our Lady’s has two main aims, both which work towards the prime objective of enhancing the pupils educational experiences.

*Communications – The aim of the PTA is to foster good relations and communications within the school community, both between parents and staff and amongst the parents.

*Fundraising   - The second aim of the PTA is to co-ordinate a programme of events and activities throughout the year for the school community.  In turn these events support the school by providing additional funds to enable us to purchase valuable learning resources and enrich the children’s opportunities at Our Lady’s.
